About me.
Too much business content reads as if its only purpose were to fill a void. Vague value propositions and commonplace marketing-speak bounce web page visitors well before a call to action can even be considered. Generative AI hasn’t alleviated this problem, but exacerbated it.
The solution begins with understanding there’s magic in your message. Listening for the unique life force in what you have to say, honing it, and bringing that message to life is my vocation. When crafting headlines to engage, or copy editing industry research so that insights are contextualized, memorable, and actionable, I bring a consistent creative passion. I’ve come to recognize that whether my job title is Creative Director, Editorial Manager, Content Marketer, or Senior Copywriter, in every role I’m an evangelist for innovators and communities.
This is why my first dream job was with the music label Hear Music, writing enticing record reviews and album liner notes. It’s why some of my proudest accomplishments are at the edges of traditional writing: Naming a creative agency so effectively that it spearheaded excitement, brand strategy, and growth; interviewing avant-garde maestro Butch Morris for a poetry magazine; moderating fan discussions for the mobile app debut of college basketball tournament broadcasts. All serve as case studies for how empathy and compassion for subjects and their audience can drive content excellence.
Yes, most of my work portfolio comprises integrated marketing content, landing pages that convert, award-winning web sites, and white papers in manufacturing and public sector verticals. I still look out for any opportunity, big or small, to evangelize artistry, innovation, and genuine connection. You’ve got a story worth telling. If you want people to hear it, let’s make it worth their while. A knack for how to shape your message, clarify your mission, and build your brand is what makes me a writer-in-the-loop to have on your side.
